Oh I am back, for a while

Unfolds Stunningly Ring

What! The last time I posted here was more than six months ago???

Okay, truth be told. I was busy slacking.

And developing my own jewelry line – Feronia

I love jewelry too much not to design and make. It’s making me broke, not richer. But I am so hooked. Argh. If you take pity on me, pass me some moolah by visiting my humble store.

Posts here might be getting sporadic but I assure you, it’s going to get even more so. I am far more active here.

I am still around…

and barely surviving sometimes. Sigh. With a face that looks like it went under wheels, meeting clients who will go against every sense of Buffetology, a store that doesn’t move, and just plain sad empty space that haunts me when things don’t look good.

2009 is so humbling.

What a start

I must have been living in my wonderland for too long because I just realized I missed my first appointment of the year! Ah well, I better have the routine of checking my schedule book before I go to sleep. Funnily, the book is beside me all the time but these days, I don’t even give it a glance.

It’s Day 5 today. My left eyelid had been twitching quite a bit yesterday. I haven’t been on caffeine. I hope nothing’s wrong.

On Day 366

Today is the last day of the leap year!

Let’s review this 2008…and no doubt, it has been packed. Unlike any other years.

Jan 08 – start a relationship fresh

Feb 08 – proposal

Mar 08 – start a new company, only to suspend it indefinitely

Apr 08 – bought our flat, went to Gold Coast for company conference, preparing for ROM

May 08 – hired assistant to help me, but all hired were disappointing

Jun 08 – working terribly hard at the IBM account

Jul 08 – ROM, moved into flat

Aug 08 – got the biggest breakthrough in my business

Sep 08 – wrote my first e-book “The Wedding Manual”

Oct 08 – set up The Wedding Manual website, then shifted to Love Love Me Do.com, reunited with a long lost friend and ended up inviting her to be co-blogger

Nov 08 – Signed up for beading classes, did my first set of earrings, preparing for wedding dinner

Dec 08 –  Set up jewelry store, wedding dinner, in the process of business venture collaborations.

And boss said, my sales production this year is not bad, given that I only worked 3 months this year.

Hubby and I are tired of fielding the question of whether it is a shotgun and how married life is.

We are awed by the little surprises that life has in store for us and overwhelmed by the demands it can give. We also realize how small we are (and our flat) but we know we are on the right track to somewhere bigger (and house).

It was about finances last year. This year, it is about relationships and following the calling, developing the fundamentals for the bigger things. This year, I must have been evolving pretty fast. And kinda growing fat too…

I am happy, I must say.

My Birthday Pressie at last!

My wedding fell on my birthday too. For days, I hounded the Husband about my pressie. After all, I am still a girl at heart who wants to be pampered with gifts. My beloved sisters presented me with a cute soft toy and a couple mug. But…where’s my hubby??? Well, granted that he was very busy with our wedding, and he was afraid to get something that I didn’t like…he asked me what I liked. Sigh, so unromantic. Heck, I announced I wanted a bag. Not those from the malls but a designer bag. So we went shopping for one today.

Sondra

Sondra

Marc by Marc Jacobs! My first designer bag.

Thank you Hubby! I assure you this kinda pressies, will be …. rare, annually okie? Haha!

Clutters and clutters

I try not to post when I am too bogged down by clutters in life. It has been quiet here these days, so it’s not hard to figure why. I’ve a whole list of clutters to clear from wedding to work to the jewelries making classes. So tired, so exciting though. My hands are hardened though, with calluses. Ah, the price…More moisturizer is needed. Anything for Christmas?

Trivial Frustrations

1. I still can’t eat dinner without the wind making my stomach bloating like a 3-mth pregnant woman. And my appetite has diminished alarmingly. Sigh.

2. The Husband forgot to take out the tissue from his pants and I did not check before loading the wash. Now, all the clothes in the wash are looking like they have premature snow. Including mine. Damn.

3. WordPress is taking way way too long to load.

4. My neighbors do not know how to close their doors without banging.

5. My next-door punky neighbor plays the same techno music every Saturday. So I play oldies to retaliate. It worked.

6. I am whiny. I know. But it’s point number 1 that got me started.

Loop around.

Battling the stomach, almost evil

My stomach went on strike these past couple of days. I can’t eat dinner without feeling the distended intestines and the air that push the innards so badly that it hurts. I guess if this is in the parisian times, I would have qualified for daily enema.

When there’s a first, there’s always a second.

Gracefully Glamorous

Gracefully Glamorous

The wires were just too much for my liking yesterday. So today, it is just slotting down a stick. Now I am pondering hard if I want to attend a certificate course at JDMIS. Should I??? How is my life path forming up?

There’s always a first.
