Wedding Nails?

The manicurist gave me a freebie today, she drew some flowers on my nails for free. And I simply love it, so gorgeous! My Virgin flowery nail:

I must be mad because one fine day, I decided to splurge on more Karin Herzog products. The Vita-A-Kombi 1 was excellent stuff and the facial scrub sample blew me away.

Body Scrub, Silhouette 4%, Tonus B12, Facial Scrub, Oxygen Body 3%

Nice lady from Fleur Chloris delivered those stuffs personally to my door step and gave me a free tube of Tonus B12. Nice….it seems that online stores pamper their clients more than the brick and mortar kinds.

Why Karin Herzog? Because oxygen is vital for our skin. Other than detoxifying and being antiseptic, oxygen also lightens hyper-pigmentation, blemishes and gives a soft, smooth, glowing look!

Their scrubs (Shower Body Scrub and Mild Scrub) comprise perfectly equally spherical marble powder. So when I scrub my face and body, the skin doesn’t feel abused but very loved instead. The Husband used a bit of the sample on his face and it was glowing immediately after that. His blackheads on the nose were also visibly reduced by a fair bit. In comparison to the over-the-counter scrubs I had been using, this Karin Herzog is heavenly.

After the body scrub, the body gets to be more pampered when I apply Oxygen Body 3%. My back is pretty pimpled and dry so this cream come in handy for its antiseptic, hydrating and heeling effects. I even put some on my legs where there are some old stubborn scars.

The Silhouette 4% and Tonus B12 are supposed to be used together. I didn’t know about that till the kind lady from Fleur Chloris told me and gave the latter for free. Basically with 4% oxygen, Silhouette penetrates deeply, even into the most uneven skin and where fat deposits are so dense, so that the body can burn fats more efficiently. Tonus B12 supplement the body with B12 vitamin which enhances the conversion of carbohydrates and fats into energy and prevent storage of fatty deposits.  It also come with organic green tea, combining the goodness of green tea and B12. Simple logic. No-brainer why it works.

The key to making these stuffs work is not to massage the stuffs into the skin. Apparently the human skin has an enzyme that will cause the oxygen to generate a force that can convery liquid oxygen to gaseous state, thus allowing penetration. Since we would want the gas to go into the desirable part and not the finger that’s applying, hence, sans massage.

I am hoping I can skip facials…

The past couple of days had been horribly packed, from helping out at a close friend’s wedding as bridesmaid on Friday, packing the weekend with a coach upgrading course and then doing some business on Monday.

So I finally got the space and energy to blog today.

Firm and Lift up!

I am a bit obsessed with skin firming and facial lift. I blame it on my skin doctor. I’ve been going to her for a year already to get some professional help for my super oily and blotchy skin. Ever since she did a Mesobotox on me, not only has the oil reduced substantially, the pores look half their usual size, my face looks more shapely too. Alas, she said the effects could last 3 months. How can I stand not having that shapely face after 3 months??? It’s “addictive” treatment…

I have used up a bottle of this. This was recommended by my skin doctor. It even helps to control acne other than having firming effects, smoothening, softening and increasing collagen production. But I am itching for something with more dramatic effects.

I also came across this in the Catalogue Magazine. Touted to produce a slimming and firming effect for the face, the best thing is it is available in our town! Yeah! It won’t burn my pocket too badly too.
